Clinical Research Recruiting
In our capacity as a clinical research search firm, our goal is to identify and network with those detail-oriented individuals who possess the time management skills needed for success in the field of clinical research. Our clients include some of the largest Clinical Research Organizations in the industry inclusive of CRO’s, Biotechnology Firms as well as Pharmaceutical companies. Be it small molecule drugs, biologics, genetic therapies, diagnostics, medical devices or procedures, clinical research and clinical trials seek to evaluate the quality, safety, and efficacy of investigational products.
In order to address their growth challenges, companies are looking for bright, capable professionals with the right experience and whose attitudes that reflect a desire to take on growing responsibilities. When recruiting clinical research professionals, hiring managers tend to focus the majority of their attention on the candidate’s relevant work experience. Obviously this is a vital component when evaluating a candidate’s suitability for a particular role and one we place tremendous emphasis on as well. Often overshadowed, but certainly not to be overlooked, are the candidate’s interpersonal skills.
At Biotech Partners, we recognize that a candidate’s experience is only part of the overall hiring equation. We ask them to provide us with specific examples of when they have worked as part of a team, how they deal and have dealt with conflict resolution, and the role they have played in mediating disputes that ultimately resulted in a positive outcome. And seeing as how the clinical research industry is driven by time-frames and deadlines, we focus a good deal of attention on trying to uncover the candidate’s time management skills. A candidate must be able to convincingly acknowledge and demonstrate good time management skills in order to progress through our qualification process.
