Our client is seeking a Principal Scientist II, Discovery Large Molecule on the East Coast!

Our client is a CRO that uses the latest technology to provide chemistry, biology, and pharmacology services that support clients from the earliest stages of identification all the way through to IND. The primary function of the Senior Research Scientist is ensuring optimal performance in the areas of method development and validation.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary liaison between client and laboratory
  • Method development & execution of quantitative assays
  • Review & deliver data
  • Troubleshoot method developments and assays
  • Operate analytical instrumentation
    • Chromatography systems
    • Mass Spectrometry systems
  • Lead and oversee junior staff in scientific growth
  • Extract and analyze biological samples, data generation, review or results, and scientific presentation


  • Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in a science-related discipline
  • Masters or Ph.D. (preferred)
  • 8+ years of industry experience
  • Experience & understanding of regulatory requirements
  • Experience developing large molecule bioassays by LC-MS/MS
  • Experience in analytical approaches for quantitation of siRNA, ASOs, Proteins, antibodies, and other complex modalities
  • Knowledge of international guidelines applicable to the studies
